Where has time gone???

I am a terrible blogger.

A few quick updates.  I am 38 weeks and 1 day pregnant.  We are having a little girl and naming her Ava Elizabeth.  I am still coaching every day.  If she isn't here by next Thursday we are going in to get induced because of massive pelvic pain I have been dealing with for past 3 months.

I have really fallen behind on my 30 before 30 list, but I don't even mind because I am going to finish the one thing that I was too scared to even put on my list.  I wanted more than anything to have a baby before 30 and it looks like we are going to squeeze her in by just a few weeks.  I am blessed.

30 before 30

I kinda fell behind on my list :(  But I am back on top of it and going to finish the best I can.  The pregnancy made it where a few things won't be able to accomplish (like going to vegas) but she is worth it <3

I have bought several new outfits now - since nothing fits anymore :)
Movies - I have watched 2 new movies.
New restaurants - Fuzzy's taco, Campo verde
Us picture for June

We made a GREAT new couple friend.  They are super awesome!
July random card is sent out!
Read "something borrowed" and "something blue" - So good!

So I am a little behind but better late than never!

I need to catch up on my 30 before 30 list also.  I have been slacking but I am finally feeling a bit better and motivated!

I forgot to update about our RE appt.

We have a plan! I really, really liked Dr. Le (for the DFW girls). He was nice, listened, and clearly spelled out his plan. He seemed very confident that we could have success with an IUI.

*Mr.Pants liked him because he "didn't have a whimpy handshake"*

He said Mr.Pants SA results were just a little lower than he would like to have seen on motility. He sent me for b/w to check my thyroid. I also had an OB panel done. So now we are waiting for cd1 to get here so we can get started on our first clomid + IUI cycle!

We are 100% OOP and we can easily afford the first 2 IUI's after that will be a bit more of a struggle.  So I am crossing my fingers and toes that the 1st one is the only one!

Highs and lows

"it was the best of times, it was the worst of times"  (I actually am not a fan of that book, but whatever the quote fits :)

We had a meet at our gym this weekend.  The results were really good. (at least my event - beam was :)

level 5
amanda 9.55
anya     8.9 - (with a fall)
brooklyn 8.5 - (with a fall)
Emma 8.8
faith 9.0
Kaitlyn 9.65
nina 8.6 (with a fall)
peyton 9.7  wootwoot!

level 6
kacie 9.1
macy 9.4
taylor 9.45

level 7
margaret 8.7 (out of 9.5)
roma 8.6 (with a fall)
meghan 8.8
kate 9.45
brianna 9.5
Elizabeth 9.5

Our level 9's didnt compete in this meet.

The highlight of the weekend was our level 6 Kacie's vault. Here is her score
Yep, that is a perfect 10!!!!!

Now on to the not as great update.  We got the results for Mr. Pants SA back.  It came back abnormal.  Specifically motility issues.  I was told the count and morphology came back fine.  Although looking at the report, they seem a bit lower than normal.  We have an appt with an RE on March 2nd.  Our insurance doesn't cover any infertilty at all.  So, I admit I am worried.  We shall see.

Lots of updates!!

I have a lot to talk about!

Us picture for January was done:

So that is 1/12 month pics

I have some TTC news also.  My HSG was clean! YAY!  My cd3 b/w came back normal.  There is a debate on if my b/w was done on 4dpo or 7dpo but it came back a 7.5 so either way I O'd.  So now I wait and see.

I went to Colorado this month for a huge gymnastics meet.  I am talking 1,000 gymnastics competed.  It was in Colorado Springs at the BEAUTIFUL broadmoor resort
This was the view from my hotel room:
Just beautiful.  We had 15 girls go, from level 4-9.  Here is a picture of our level 7's right before march in:

All the girls did very well considering there were 1,000 girls competing.  Here are a few highlights (don't have all of them on me right now):
level 7
Alexis - 3rd floor
Amber - 2nd floor
Cassidy - 8th floor
Elizabeth - 4th floor
Kate - 4th beam, 6th floor
Margaret - 8th beam, 4th vault, 1st floor
Brianna - 2nd beam
Out of 22 teams out level 7's got 6th. Not too bad!

Ok now my big news.  We have a very, very talented level 9.  She is 11 years old, hard worker, everything you could ask for.  Her name is Pip.

At this meet, because it was such a huge meet that gyms from all over the country came to, we had so high level judges.  One of the judges being Tammy Biggs .  She was a vault judge at the meet.  After Pips vault she was talking to our vault coach and gym co-owner Chris.  She is on the national gymnastics commitee.  She asked us to petition Pip to the National Athlete Development camp in Houston at Karolyi camp.  Which basically is the camp you go to to get prepared for Elite (the highest level there is).  Most of the time coaches just petition their gymnasts on their own and hope they get in, it is VERY rare for a national member to ask a coach to petition their gymnast!  We are very excited and really really hope that Pip can get a spot in the camp.  We have to put together a video of her skills and some manditory routines and send it in! Cross your fingers for her, this is her dream!

HSG today

My HSG was this morning, Mr. Pants took the day off and went with me.  The procedure was not too painful.  I did start feeling sick right away. The Doctor told me that she would get better results from the pictures they took up above but that from what she saw on the moniter the dye went through the tubes easily and my tubes seem to be open.  She will study my pictures and sent her thoughts and final report to my OB.

I have been feeling pretty sick and crampy since we left. I came home and took a nap and I am just now not feeling as sick.  All in all though, not as horrible as I feared. But I do love not going to work today!
The doctor did say that she has had lots of women got pregnant right after the HSG, probably because it clears everything out and to make sure we try hard this cycle. lol, no pressure.

I have great friends!

I came home last night to a package from Lopes.  There was the sweetest card and and fun Valentines cupcake making items.  She also gave me a fertility bracelet.  There was so much thought and effort put into it, I *might* have teared up when I opened it .  There is a butterfly b/c I have a butterfly thing, and I hope you can see it in the picture, there is also a HOPE charm on it.  I have needed some hope lately, so now I have some!  E picked out the color, and I LOVE it!  I am a lucky girl to have such great e-friends.  Thank you so much Lopey and E!  <3 <3 <3

I must be a grownup now

My grandmother was something of an artist.  Growing up I loved visiting her because she had a kiln in her kitchen and was always making awesome stuff.  Her big thing was flowers.  She made so many cool things.  She gave me a beautiful bathroom set once a mirror, and a jewelry box that sat on a plate type thing.  I thought I was so lucky.  My grandmother died while I was living in LA and I am so grateful that I was something so special for her.  A few of the things I have that she made:
                                   These are ceramic hot pads

The bathroom set

Another Jewelry box

When I was in high school my grandmother made me a full set of china.  I was never allowed to touch this china.  I left for college, no touching the china.  I moved to LA when I was 21, no taking the china.  I moved back to Texas and got married.  Now, finally I am allowed to touch the china!  Last weekend I went to my moms house packed up all my china and brought it home with me.

I adore them.  She used 24 carat gold leaf.  They are simple and classsy, everything I *want* to be.

I am 29 today.

So, today is my birthday and so far it has been pretty good.  I had early morning practice which meant I had a starbucks carmel mocha (yummmm).  And then, my co-worker brought kristy kreme for all of us! yay!

I talked to my nurse today also.  I have an appt for January 3rd to do some bloodwork, and maybe an HSG, and talk about options.  I am nervous and still holding out hope that I will get to cancel that appt :)

Yesterday was a really sad day for me.  My temp did not jump up so even though I had signs that O was coming, it doesnt look like it did.  I was quiet and mopey all day.  I got home from work and had a package waiting for me.  I danced around like a little girl!  The beautiful and kind Sulf had sent me a gift!  I opened it up to find the cutest pink scarf (pink is my favorite color!!!)  and the most amazing homemade cookies ever!  I feel lucky to have such a great friend!  Thank you so much Sulf my love!!!

Showing off my new scarf:

And my yummy homemade cookies:
